We are just a couple of retired teachers who found a passion for woodworking after retirement. Both of us were interested in woodworking at a young age, but never really had the time or money to get a proper shop going. Family, work and life can do that.
During our last years as teachers, we often joked about what we would do in our retirement. Woodworking always came up, and it seemed inevitable that "something" like that might happen. Finally, retirement arrived and we built a woodshop. We started out in one garage, but a year and many machines later, we decided it was too small for our needs and moved to another garage with more room.
We started small by building for our families and friends, and we were busy for more than a year with their requests alone.
"When you have family and friends that KNOW you can build good stuff, they ALWAYS ask you to build them things."
That was a double-edged sword. It let us build a lot of different things and get real experience. But people talk, and soon enough we had people offering us money to build the items they wanted. We each got into the woodworking groove for different reasons, but decided it was time to take the plunge and open a business dealing in woodcraft.
The new shop has let us expand what we can make, and we believe it can only make our products better. We recently purchased a CNC machine with a laser engraver. There is a lot we can do, and personalized requests are welcome.
We presently do craft fairs and some consignment sales, and we'd like to expand to online sales and retail outlets. We hope you like our products, and we would love to hear that you saw us online.
God Bless.Steve & Clint
