From the shop floor

Every piece starts as a single board, not a spec sheet.

We choose lumber the way a tailor chooses cloth — for grain, density, and how it will look in twenty years. Nothing here is pressed, veneered, or assembled from sheet stock. It's cut, shaped, and finished by the same small crew, start to finish.

How it's made

From board to bowl

Four steps, the same way every time — that consistency is the craft.

01

Select

Each board is chosen by hand for grain, density, and how it will age.

02

Shape

Cut and turned on the same machines we've used for years, not mass tooling.

03

Finish

Sanded through several grits, then sealed with a food-safe oil.

04

Inspect

Every piece is checked by hand before it's wrapped for its first home.

It doesn't look like anything else in our kitchen. Heavier than I expected, in the best way — like it has always been there.
